Criteria Pollutant Effluence
Standard of Yangzhou City:
According to the nature,pollutants are categorized into two
types:
The first type refers to those pollutants which are not
easy to be reduced or removed,and are likely to accmulate in both plants and animals,and
which are harmful to human health in the long run.
The second type refers to those which are less harmful than
the first type.
The effluent standard of Yangzhou has been graded into two.
Grade 1 refers to the standard which is to be followed by
construction projects,reconstruction projects or extension projects from the date of its
promelgation and enforcement.
Grade 2 refers to the standard which is to be followed by
the existing units from the date of its promulgation and enforcement.

Noise Criteria
Noise criteria follow "Environmental Noise Criteria in
Urban Areas"(GB3046-93) and "Noise Criteria in Industrial
Zone"(GB12348-90).In residential areas(Class 1),in industrial zones(Class 3)and their
surroundings(Class 2)which are highly sensitive to noise,and in main communications
arteries(Class 4),different noise criteria are to be enforced.
