Infratructure in YZEDZ 1.Water Supply
Yangzhou Waterworks NO.4 has been built to provide 300,000-ton water per day in
YZEDZ.According to the general requirements,a network of pipes has been set up and average
water pressure is 150 kilobars.The length of network is about 15 km,13 km of which has
been put to usse.
2.Electricity Supply
At present,power source comes mainly from 110,000-volt shuangqiao and Jiangwang
Sub-stations.A new power plant has been built and is going into operation in the near
future.the voltage can be determined according to the amount used.Electric cables are
placed along all the roads and streets in YZEDZ.
3.Gas Supply
Gas pipes have been laid to supply gas to the residents.And a gas station has been set up
to meet the needs of industriaaaaal use within the area of YZEDZ.
4.Heat Supply
Heat Supply Center,with 24,000 kw generating unit,has been built to meet the needs of
enterprises and their development within the area of YZEDZ.Another heat supply centre is
going to be built.
5.Communications
About 80,000 program-controlled telephones and 30,000 portable telephones have been put to
use since 1994.Now various communications services are available.The Telecommunications
Centre has been put to use in 1997.In the meantime,the TelecommunicationsCentre also has
been put into the network, connecting with other cities in Northern Jiangsu and provide
convenient, safe, accurate and rapid communications service,and some new
telecommunications services.So far 16 km of communications cable hass been laid
underground.
6.Road Facilities
YZEDZ is conveniently located with National Highway 328 passing through.The Highway goes
westward to Nanjing and eastward to downtown Yangzhou.60-meter-wide Yangtse River road
hass been built to join Yangzhou Harbour and Yaangzhou No.2 power Plant near the Yangtse
River to YZEDZ.A network of roads and streets has been formed to the requirements of the
world standard. Their total length is 20 km.Within the area of YZEDZ,there are? Yangtse
River road,Xincheng South Road,Xincheng North Road,Hongda Road,Zhengxing Road,Xianghe
Road,Shunda Road, Hanjiangdadao Road,Kaifa Road,Yinxin Road,Panqiao Road and Sunong
Road.The developed land area is about? 6 square kilometers.The residential area is well
planned.The living building have 200,000 m2 of floorage.
7.Rain and Waste Water Drain
Rainwater and waste water drain systemshave been set up.They diverge in different
directions.At present,the first waste water processing centre is in the preparatory
stage.Investors are welcome to invest in the project. |
